(Peoria, IL) It looked as if we would ahve a new winner in Midwest Street Stock Championship competition Saturday night in the Dirty 30 at Peoria Speedway. Robert Cottom looked strong all night and was out to an early lead but it was short-lived. An oil leak sidelined the local favorite and Jeremy Nichols was able to capitalize on the opportunity and hold on for the victory.

Macklin Holds On For Boulder Designs Chambana 40 Victory

(Urbana, IL) July 21, 2018 – ON July 20, the Midwest Street Stock Championship made their inaugural trip to the Champaign County Speedway in Urbana, Illinois for the Boulder Designs Chambana 40. Point leader Jeremy Nichols was out to an early lead but Nick Macklin stayed patient and capitalized on a mechanical failure from Nichols to secure the victory.

(Charleston, IL) – The second round of the Midwest Street Stock Championship rolled into Charleston Speedway Saturday night for the Stock Car Shootout Presented by Wildgraphix. Jeremy Nichols of Lovington, IL came into the evening with the Series points lead after his win a week ago at Macon Speedway in the Dean Garland Classic, but twenty other competitors that entered the event Saturday night had their eyes set on the $1,000 top prize and to gain on Nichols in the season long point hunt.

MSSC Set to Kickoff the 2018 Season

(Tuscola, IL) May 15, 2018 – The sophomore season for the Midwest Street Stock Championship Series is set to get underway this Saturday at Macon Speedway with the Dean Garland Classic. Lincoln Speedway was the slated opener last month but cold and wintry weather put a damper on that event and it had to be rescheduled.
